Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms govern access to this website and the digital courses and resources offered by A Visible Imprint. By using the website or purchasing a product, you agree to the version presented at the time of use or purchase. You must have legal capacity to enter the transaction or use the service with authorization from a parent, guardian, or responsible organization where applicable.

Products and website information

The available products are After Effects 0 to Hero, Sony Vegas 0 to Hero for version 21 and later, and the VFX Pack. Descriptions explain the intended scope but do not guarantee a specific personal, professional, creative, employment, or financial result. The contact form is an inquiry tool and does not itself create an enrollment, license, or payment agreement.

Orders, prices, and payment

Website prices are stated in U.S. dollars. The selected product, final scope, delivery information, applicable taxes, separately licensed third-party tools, and any requested additions should be confirmed before payment. An order may be declined or cancelled before delivery when payment cannot be verified, information is materially inaccurate, fraud is suspected, or fulfillment is not reasonably possible.

Digital content license

Unless a written product license states otherwise, purchased course materials and digital resources are licensed to the purchaser for personal learning and use in the purchaser's own supported creative workflow. Ownership of the materials does not transfer.

You may not resell, sublicense, share access credentials, distribute source files, upload materials to public or shared repositories, remove ownership notices, or use the materials to create a competing resource library. Commercial output created with a resource may be subject to the specific license supplied with that resource and any applicable third-party terms.

Software and third-party tools

Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas, and third-party plugins are separate products controlled by their respective owners. The purchaser is responsible for compatible hardware, legally obtained software, current system requirements, and compliance with third-party licenses. A course or pack may identify required or optional plugins; unless expressly included in the confirmed order, separate software and plugin costs are not included.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with website security, submit malicious code, scrape protected materials, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual property, or use the site or products unlawfully. Access may be limited when necessary to protect the website, materials, users, or providers.

Intellectual property

The website design, course materials, text, graphics, presets, settings, effects, transitions, and other supplied content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and licenses. Product names and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners. No affiliation or endorsement is implied by references used only to identify compatible software or learning subject matter.

Disclaimers and liability

The website and digital materials are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Software updates, hardware differences, third-party changes, or user modifications can affect compatibility and results. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, A Visible Imprint is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or materials. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim, except where a different limit is required by law.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Colorado, United States, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply in another jurisdiction. Terms may be updated for future use. The version accepted for an existing purchase continues to govern that purchase unless a lawful update must apply.
